Salo Levinas, Panelist At The National Museum Of African American History & Culture

Salo Levinas was invited by the DC Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce to be a panelist at a discussion of race and economic opportunity with a diverse group of Washington D.C. and Boston business leaders at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History & Culture.

The discussion was designed to gain a better understanding of America’s historical enmity between blacks and whites, with the goal of using that knowledge and sensitivity to transcend racial problems; reduce the economic, educational, and political disparity between races; and to forge new and stronger bridges of understanding and cooperation between races. The panel was held at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History & Culture.

The business delegation was led by DC Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Vincent B. Orange and Greater Boston Chamber President & CEO James E. Rooney and joined by Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh and former DC Mayor Sharon Pratt.
