These ten villas are an addition to Las Balsas, a hotel and spa in Patagonia. The retreat values wellness, sustainability, and a connection to nature. The villas were designed to enhance visitors’ stays by being nestled in the Patagonian mountains and providing panoramic views overlooking Lake Nahuel Huapi.

Each villa was located on the site and shaped to maximize views, offer a tranquil experience, and seamlessly integrate into the beautiful landscape. The elevated construction of the villas allows the villas to lightly touch the ground, minimizing the destruction to the forest canopy and working harmoniously with the steep topography. The villas were built using local materials and building techniques, enforcing the existing sustainable ethos of the retreat, and each villa feels like it belongs to the site.
